We can all remember years ago, when the leather seats in fine cars like Jaguar used to crack and split due to the heat and perspiration.
Leather technology has gone ahead in leaps and bounds and the leather found in today's cars rarely has problems. If leather can now stand up to those extremes then, in my opinion, good quality leather as a cover on furniture should be an attractive proposition.
Added to this is the fact that good leather care products are readily available (instead of the mild soap solutions used in the past) and that most homes have either air conditioning or ceiling fans just makes leather that much more practical.
